Paper was seen as a viable option in the start due to low cost and and proper crease pattern being visible. But its not exactly a material that could handle multiple folds, would end up in multiple tears.

File card for an instance worked perfectly well, but it also indeed wasent a long term material.

Ohp sheet failed due to weak folds and improper bending.

Glossy Paper was also seen as a good material, but failed to give results due to lack of stiffness.

Plastic in the beginning was discarded to to thickness, but later on multiple thicknesses were found and tried upon.

A white plastic sheet was finally decided upon, which would go with the site and an appropriate thickness which was not too less and not more, so that the crases stayed properly and didnt break.
